Buy/Sell/Hold

Last week I did a stock up/stock down article. This is similar but I wanted to do a more straightforward buy/sell/hold regardless of the players value currently. It's more of a "Which direction do you see this player's value going?" So if I think a players' value will rise in the next few weeks he's a buy.  A sell would be a player I think will be on a downward trend. A hold is a player we should wait on for more clarity on thier situation.         Let's get into it. I'm going to just list them in order of importance wether I'm trying to aquire or relieve myself of thier services.

Buy DJ Chark This one probably needs to be done today as Chark plays on TNF. If he explodes on national TV it'll be too late. With Minshew playing at such a high level it's almost inevitable. Try and offer a WR3/Flex level player like John Brown or target a RB needy team with one you just picked up off waivers.

Buy Derrick Henry This one needs to be executed on the more casual manager. His usage is there he's just not producing.... Yet. As the season wears on Henry gets stronger and defenses get weaker. We literally see this movie every year and it ends with him running over everything in his sight. Offer an RB2+WR3/4 depends what the Henry manager needs.

Buy Kenyan Drake Kyler has been stealing all the TDs in Arizona but it should come for Drake. I think as soon as this week. Drake even took to twitter to defend his Fantasy value. His next 3 opponents are fantastic matchups. Get in before the blow-up.

Buy Joshua Kelly Most managers still view Kelly as the "Backup" to Ekeler. He's way more of a complimentary piece and outtouched Ekeler in week 2. He had 23 rush attempts. TWENTY THREE! And even saw 2 targets in the passing game. He has some fantasic matchups and will probably become an every week starter soon. Get him while he's still undervalued.

Buy DK Metcalf The Seahawks are letting Russ "Cook" and thier defense is letting every other QB in the league cook them. This formula will lead to a crazy amount of redzone targets. His value is already pretty high but i don't see it dropping off and I'm willing to pay a bit of a premium if I need a WR.

Buy James Robinson He's the workhorse RB on an exciting offense and if you look at his next handful of opponents you'll be even more motivated to aquire his services. If he has a quiet game tonight I'd be sending those offers out immediately. Unfortunately I think he explodes tonight.

Hold Joe Mixon (For 2 more weeks, then sell) As the season progresses we start to see trends in matchups. The first 2 weeks Mixon saw 2 of the most impressive run defenses this year but in these next 2 games he has some beatable opponents. Then, after that it's a bye and a murderers row of matchups. If he has big games these next two weeks get your points and sell high on him. It shouldn't be hard in this RB economy.

Sell Todd Gurley This past week was a nightmare scenario. Even with game script in his favor he wasn't given goalline carries. Hopefully there's a few desperate RB needy casual players in your league so you can deal Gurley on name alone.

Sell TJ Hockenson TEs are a hard sell but it's not impossible. I'd shoot for a high end WR3 or flex. Hockenson is already getting a fairly low target share. Now when Golladay returns that share could decrease even more. With the TE pool seemingly deep as ever he's not someone I'd want to rely on every week.

Sell Stefon Diggs Diggs has completely changed the Buffalo offense for the better and elevated Josh Allen to the next level. The problem is I don't see the passing volume maintaining over time. Also, they won't play the Jets and the Dolphins every week. I still like Diggs to return WR3 value but if you can sell him at his WR1 production value I'd pull the trigger.

Sell Mike Evans With Tom not being the downfield passing threat he once was and Godwin set to return I'd try to capitalize on his big game in week 2. Sell him for the aforementioned James Robinson if you can.

Hold Anthony Miller For a guy who was primed to breakout his role in the offense has been dissapointing to say the least. I suspect it's his lack of blocking skills and slot speciality combined with the Bears trying to be a more run first offense with Montgomery. Either way I'm giving him this week v Atlanta to return value. I might even start him on some teams but if he falls flat again he is a drop candidate in 10-12 team leagues.

Hold Will Fuller If you try to trade him now it could come back to bite you. He received 0 targets in a really tough matchup and he's got another tough one this week. After that he should post some nice numbers against the lesser competition. Hold on for 1 more week.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed writing it. Let me know what you think and follow me on twitter @Chris_Cianci. Enjoy the game tonight!
