Thursday Night Football Preview

Thursday is here and it's time once again to make some lineup decisions. Vegas has the Jags as 3 point favorites at home and the over/under for this game at 48.5 which is slightly higher than average. That tells me this should be a fairly close game with a fair amount of scoring. I was actually surprised as I initially thought the Jaguars would be slightly better favorites. Neither of these defenses scare me off the skill players on either team. I think this game has some sneaky shootout appeal and I'm excited to see Minshew in primetime.
Same as last week I'll list each player and where I'm comfortable starting them in my lineups. And remember None of these players should occupy your flex spot. If you're confused as to why go back and read my TNF preview for week 1 I give a full breakdown on how lineups are properly set. So without further adue tonight's starts.

QB1 Gardner Minshew A revelation for the late QB crowd. I'm comfortable firing up Minshew against this banged up secondary even without Chark.

RB2 James Robinson Yes you read that correctly. Robinson was on my list of buys and he's inside my top 20 RBs for this week. Start him with confidence.

WR2 Davante Parker Parker has produced against tougher competition already this year. There's no reason he should slow down tonight. With all the injuries at WR he's bordering on WR1 territory.

WR3 Preston Williams, Keelan Cole Cole gets the upgrade due to Chark missing this game and should lead the Jags in targets. Preston Williams who led the Dolphins in targets for week 1 should be in for a bounce back game after seeing Tre'Davious White in coverage most of week 2. Don't be surprised if he outproduces Parker in this one.

TE1 Mike Gesicki I never chase points but maybe they are finally going to give Gesicki the targets he deserves. He was running wild through the middle of the Bills defense and the Jags won't be any harder on him.

Flex Laviska Shenault, Myles Gaskin Both are pretty high floor options with Chark out for Jacksonville and Gaskin getting the volume in Miami. With all the "Q" tags on WRs and Chark missing this game you might have no choice to start Shenault and there's a chance he could go off.

That's it for this week. I'm not starting either of these defenses. Thanks for reading and enjoy the game tonight!!! Follow me on twitter and shoot me questions if you have any @Chris_Cianci
