Thursday Night Football Preview

This week we get a fantastic matchup of two high powered offenses facing off on Thursday Night!!! I'm obviously joking. This game is where fantasy points go to die. I was tempted to not list anyone as a comfortable start here but there are  a small handful of guys I think you can roll out. I'll try to keep this one short since there's not much excitement about this game for fantasy purposes. With an over/under around 40 the scoring opportunities will probably be hard to come by.
Like I have every week I'll list where I'm comfortable starting the fantasy relevant players in this matchup.

RB2 Melvin Gordon It's not a great matchup against a fairly stout Jets run defense but if anyone has a decent shot at a TD it's Gordon. He's on the low end of the RB2 range for me so don't get your hopes up.

TE1: Noah Fant Temper your expectations with Fant but I still think he returns low end TE1 value here. Even with Rypien at QB

WR3: Jamison Crowder (If he plays) This is obviously contingent on his availability. If he is good to go I'm ok with him as a volume WR3 in full PPR. In half PPR he gets pushed down to low end WR3/Flex in standard I'd completely stay away.

Flex Jerry Jeudy This kinda scares me as a flex play because of the unknown under center. Yet with the plethora of "Q" tags on players this week and the Steelers/Titans being cancelled I believe Jeudy will finish the week in the flex range. I personally would much rather wait until I get more clarity on the Injured players Sunday before I make a flex decision but that's the beauty of TNF.

Defense: New York Jets and Denver If you're into streaming defenses these are both viable options. With the Jets facing an UDFA and the Broncos facing... well the Jets and Darnold who threw 2 pick 6s last week. You could roll either one out. I actually prefer the Jets but they both have some nice upside.

That's it for this Thursday. Please don't think about starting either QB in this one even in 2QB and Superflex I'd prefer to go elsewhere if I could. Thanks for reading and follow me on Twitter @Chris_Cianci
