Thursday Night Football Preview

             Thursday Night Football Preview

Tonight's matchup if anything will be important for fantasy. There are a bunch of every week starters on both sides of the field. Additionally a  soft secondary on the Falcons side and an almost equally soft run defense on the Panthers side should make for a lucrative affair.
As usual I'll list where I'm comfortable starting the fantasy relevant players tonight.

QB1: Matt Ryan, Teddy Bridgewater Both are lower end QB1s here. I had Bridgewater higher but the tropical storm-ish conditions in Carolina lowers his cieling for me slightly. (It's more about wind gusts than rain)

RB1: Mike Davis, Todd Gurley Fire up either RBs with confidence here. They both have high floors and ceilings in this game. Davis gets an additional boost in full PPR.

WR1: Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley Julio and Calvin are every week WR1s. Matchup dosen't matter. Carolina isn't a bad matchup but it isn't great either as a run funnel defense. However, I think they will throw enough to keep them inside the top 10 this week.

WR2: Robby Anderson, DJ Moore Anderson is a WR2 with WR1 upside in this spot. Moore is a solid low to mid range WR2 for me. Matchup is great. Fire them up with confidence.

TE1 Hayden Hurst Hurst can be rolled out as a low end TE1 here. He has performed well when Julio takes coverage away and is always a decent bet for a TD.

That's it for this week's startable options. Keep in mind there is a tropical storm moving through the area so I'd look for other kicker options if you had Koo or Slye. The weather should clear up but that's not a gamble I'd take on Kickers. Neither defense is startable here and if you're interested in starting Russell Gage I'd look elsewhere later in the week.
