Thursday Night Football Preview

             Thursday Night Football Preview

Before I get into the game between the Bucs and Bears I'd like to disclose that I'm writing this article under the assumption that the Titans will forfeit to the Bills due to breaking Covid-19 protocols. With the information we have it appears likely and tonight we have guaranteed statuses on players which gives them a slight bump in these strange times. Now with that out of the way let's get into the TNF contest.
Tonight's game has The Bucs as 3.5 point favorites and the lowest O/U point total of the week at 44. That would Indicate a neutral game script with not much scoring. Both offenses should lean run heavy and be slow moving as well. So the Fantasy points will likely be few and far between. However, there are a few players that could return value. As usual I'll list those players in the spot I'm willing to play them.

RB2 Ronald Jones The matchup isn't great but RoJo should definitely see the volume here. This is under the impression Fournette is out again. McCoy should also be out leaving just the rookie Vaughn to compete for touches.

WR1 Allen Robinson The Bucs are a better run defense than a pass defense so I could see the Bears going to the air to try an beat them. A-Rob is the clear cut #1 in this offense and should be a fine start.

WR2 Mike Evans This is of course considering he plays. Hit with the "Q" tag for this game watch his status but if he plays his volume should carry him to WR2 production.

WR3 Scotty Miller Last week he was supposed to see an increased role and it didn't quite work out but now with Evans banged up I can see Brady relying on him here.

Flex David Montgomery Monty gets the volume to be an RB2 but this matchup is tough. The bucs have been stout vs the run and Montgomery isn't always a must start. On the positive side he saw 6 targets with Cohen out so his floor is decent.

Defense Tampa, Chicago You can roll out either defense here as safe options. Tampa offers more upside. As for Chicago I don't see Brady being careless with the ball in this one but I also don't see him putting up a big statline.

That's going to do it for tonight's preview. Hope you enjoyed it. Follow me on Twitter @Chris_Cianci for any questions you may have
Enjoy the game tonight!!
