Week 4 plug and play (Don't Panic)

I scrapped my start/sit article this week in favor of a plug and play one for teams hurting from the covid situation. With the injuries and covid-19 postponed games some managers are searching through the waiver wire for viable options. I'm one of those managers and I've found some low percentage owned players you can pick up and plug into your lineup.
When it comes to the Chiefs Pats game first thing you should do if possible is put players in that game in your flex. If your league allows subs you can sub different positions that way and if your league does not it gives you flexibility in case we get word later today or tomorrow of a further postponment. Then I'd say hold steady on the must starts in that game. (Mahomes, CEH, Kelce, Hill) I'd replace all the other players in that matchup. With Cam out I'm not even trusting Eddleman.
I'm just going to list RBs and WRs. If you're looking for a TE or QB I covered that already. Go back and check my streaming article from earlier in the week. These are essentially streams at the RB and WR position. (The following players are owned in 15% or less of Yahoo Leagues)

Running Backs

Jamaal Williams v Atlanta (10%) Jamaal is my favorite insurance plan here at super low ownership. He has a role in the offense and a fantastic matchup. The best part of this is he plays on Monday night. So if we get word of the Chiefs/Pats getting cancelled tomorrow morning or afternoon you can plug Jamaal Williams in you lineup and get at least some points.

Travis Homer @ Miami (2%) Hyde looks to be out and Carson is banged up. Homer is available almost everywhere and should see some run on this high powered offense.

JD Mckissick v Baltimore (2%) if the top 2 I listed aren't available Mckissick offers some volume. It's a low ceiling option but a serviceable one.

Wide Receivers

Isaiah Ford v Seattle (1%) Everyone is streaming Fitxmagic and upgrading his pass catchers. The only one I haven't heard about is Ford. The targets will be there with Miami most likely playing catch-up all game.

Zach Pascal @ Chicago (4%) They are running out of WRs in Indy. We've seen Pascal rise to the occasion in spot starts before. Now he's playing the majority of his snaps out of Rivers favorite position, the slot.

Cordarrelle Patterson v Indianapolis (8%) With Cohen going down for the year there's RB targets to be had. I think Montgomery will soak up a few but Patterson already had a backfield role. Now he should get a boost.

I think these players have low enough ownership to be available on most everyone's waiver wire. I skipped the start sits but I'm going to give a few bonus starts here because I'm seeing these guys on benches in some of my leagues.

Start✅
Brandin Cooks He's battled through Injury and really tough matchups. Now he's healthy and gets the Vikings. He's a top 20 option for me this week.

Hunter Renfrow The Bills have a well documented weakness to slot WRs. Not only is Renfrow a slot specialist but he gets targets down the field as well.

Jarvis Landry Baker should be forced to drop back a ton this week. With Odell Beckham banged up Landry should see a ton of targets

Davante Parker It's crazy I felt like I needed to put him on here but I actually have seen people benching him. Don't do that. He's a WR1 this week.

Darryl Henderson Rams have the highest run rate when leading. They are 13 point favorites against the Giants. Henderson will put up RB1 numbers today.

Devin Singletary The Raiders bleed points to the RB position Singletary is the healthiest back and has been seeing targets. Zack Moss is back and could cut into his workload. I think you could actually start both as RB2/Flex options

There's some borderline options that didn't fit the parameters for either section you can roll out. Jeff Wilson Jr has some upside today and Nyheim Hines seems to have gotten a role back in that offense. Greg Ward is an ok spot start at WR as well.
That's it for this article. With all the craziness I don't get to the DFS stuff this week and I apologise for that. I moved this week and everything was pretty crazy. Thanks for reading and follow me on Twitter @Chris_Cianci
Enjoy the games today!!
